Medical Nutrition Board Member | Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
For Jeanette, it was not until her sister had been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s that she started to look deeper into her own thyroid health and realized she too had markers for Hashimoto’s. From there she started researching ways to improve thyroid function.
In addition to working on improving her own health, she has helped many clients with thyroid issues lose weight and gain more energy through nutrition interventions.
In today’s Standard American Diet, individuals may not be getting the necessary nutrients which can lead to deficiencies that may keep you from feeling your best. This is especially true when having thyroid conditions.
She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a graduate of Kerri Glassman’s Nutrition School. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Rutgers University.
She has experience working in clinical, community, and management settings. She has counseled both in-and out-patients. Through these experiences, she has helped many people improve their health status.
Her current focus is helping individuals to use nutrition to help enhance thyroid health.
Using scientific testing can determine your food sensitivities, nutrient deficiencies, and gut and hormone imbalances to help restore your body and improve your overall health.
She also has seven years of experience working in the media side of advertising. During this time she had become health conscious and interested in nutrition. What started out as a hobby turned into a labor of love. In 2012, she began to pursue a new career. She was accepted to Montclair State University and two years later obtained a certification in Nutrition.
She completed her dietetic internship with the ARAMARK Distance Learning Internship. She currently resides at the Jersey Shore. Her passions include nutrition, health, wellness, writing, and music. She has a love for helping people attain healthy lifestyles through positive behavioral changes.
Coming from a corporate environment, she understands the burden of working long hours and trying to maintain good health and wellness.
